----- The CD4 logo reminded me a lot of the “KO” text from Street Fighter, so I leaned into that look for the qualifier graphics, taking inspiration from some of the classic Street Fighter visuals for the look.

The main event was located in Washington D.C., causing me to take inspiration from news outlet graphics, political themes, etc. One of the stand-outs of the event was it was the only public DOTA 2 minor in North America that season, so we wanted to make sure it was very representative of USA. I even created a “presidential” seal that they used as backdrop imagery for the casters.
